You are invited to spend a holiday vacation at our Villa Gradenigo bed and breakfast, a 17th Century Venetian mansion surronded by parkland, in the countryside of the town of Treviso, which can be reached in 10-15 minutes by car, tarin or bus. Treviso is often defined as "the garden of Venice", on account of the green parks though which flows the river Sile, collecting on its way a number of affluents, before reaching the Venitian lagoon in front of the island of Torcello. Surronded by ancient walls and enriched by soilemn gothic churches and frescoed houses, Treviso is also characterized by thriving industries and by an excellent gastronomy (the famous red radicchio and Prosecco wine).

But, if you wish to spend a day in Venice, we suggest that you take the local train at the little station just a few metres from the gates of Villa Gradenigo: it will take you to Venice in less than forty minutes.
The thriving city of Treviso, defined by a Renaissance poet ”the capital of the joyous and amorous Country”, stands at the crossing point of three rivers, boasting of fine 13 th Century churches and charming frescoed houses. It is only ten minutes away by car, train or bus.

What about the wine of Veneto? taste it along “la strada del vino bianco” or “la strada del vino rosso” on your way to Conegliano or Valdobbiadene”- or to many other wine producing resorts…
Finally, if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere at the end of your whereabouts, we will be glad to welcome you heartily in our old house and its park, where the furniture, paintings and books speak of a proud past, and the rooms are confortable, the bathrooms well refurbished, and the cuisine excellent.

There are, moreover, two sitting rooms, two galley kitchens beside the main one, and a swimming pool. The oval table in the hall is often used for meetings, lessons and dinner parties.
